Matthews brings a technical background, website development, and nearly a decade working in all facets of parking and transportation; primarily in the university (educational) markets.

Matthews is the current Vice President of the New England Parking Council and former board member for Women in Parking, where she has helped several industry collogues to become self-sufficient and launch successful businesses.
Along with her experience and leadership, Heather is also an entrepreneur. Launched in 2017, Savvy Gal Technical Solutions has become a leading website and technical services provider for various prominent companies and organizations in our industry. Including: the NEPC website and the SWPTA website; adding another high demand service to the existing Athena diversity of services.
